About Petra

• What got you into riding?
"My parents wanted me to get into a sport and my dad used to race when he was younger and thought I should try cycling. Since then I’ve been in love with the sport and haven’t stopped."

• At what age did you start?
"I started cycling at 9."

• What inspires you?
"My inspiration comes from elite riders who push themselves to their limits. It comes from master riders because even though they might not be winning all of the races they’re still doing what they love. It comes from juniors who dream beyond the stars. But it especially comes from my family, immediate friends, and community."

• What is the best part of being on the LUX team?
"The best part of being on the LUX team is that it’s built of juniors of all ages working together, with different skill sets of riding, but have similar dreams to further their cycling."

• Who is your favorite super hero?
"My favorite superhero is the Honey Badger. OK, not real, but would have a rocket powered bike and snuff out bullies everywhere! 'Look , up in the sky!'"

• If you could have any super power, what would it be?
"Rocket Power!"
